Cat's Cradle on the album TV, Death And The Devil
NÜ SENSAE
Nü Sensae are the voodoo punk duo made up of Andrea Lukic on Bass/Vox and Daniel Pitout on drums. Forerunners of the weird punk movement in Vancouver, Nü Sensae have appeared in such publications as Pitchfork, NME, Maximum RockNRoll, Exclaim!, Beatroute and SPIN.
"If you were to mix the most abrasive and hyper elements of Teenage Jesus & The Jerks and early Sonic Youth with early hardcore bands like the Neos, you might come up with something like Nu Sensae." - Razorcake
"[Nu Sensae] don't waste any time getting to their musical point, driving that point home, and stopping before your mind even has time to think about wondering...evil rhythms, menacing voices, and baaaad vibes" - Quinn Omori, From Blown Speakers
"By the time Nu Sensae had finished blasting it's art damaged punk, the concrete floor was a pool of sticky alley filth" - Jenny Charelsworth, The Georgia Straight
"...one of the most exciting streams of punk-consciousness gestating in the west-coast." - Aaron Levin, Weird Canada
The band's reputation for auditory violence is well-earned. Now muscle and melody have been added to the shrieking terror for an album that surpasses all expectations. 12 songs for wiping your mind off of the wall. Debut full length LP following appearance on the Emergency Room compilation LP, one-sided 12" on Isolated Now Waves, 7" on Critiscum Internationale.
Nü Sensae release the highly-anticipated TV, Death And The Devil full length LP, recorded on digital 8 track at Nite Prison and produced by Jesse Taylor (Twin Crystals) on Nominal Records. Initial pressing of 750 LPs come with 23"x31" poster and download coupon included.
